Microenterprise Results Reporting (MRR)
Microenterprise Results Reporting (MRR) is an annual report to the U.S. Congress providing funding and program data on USAID’s microenterprise activities. The MRR online reporting system, which supports the annual report, tracks USAID’s progress towards congressionally mandated funding targets and monitors the results of USAID assistance to the microenterprise sector. USAID hires an outside contractor to implement MRR because microenterprise development is a cross-cutting strategy that draws on funding from different sectors, and microenterprise development data do not correspond with data reported through USAID’s internal budgeting system.
|MRR is USAID's official system for tracking microenterprise development obligations and results data. Since 1996, MRR has collected and reported on this data to the U.S. Congress.|
